With this notice, BBC Solution snc, with legal seat in via Vanzo 71/B - 31021 Mogliano Veneto (TV) (hereinafter BBC Solution), wants to inform any visitors to our www.venicebox.it Website, (hereinafter the Website) of the policy we have adopted as concerns the Protection of said visitors' personal information and of our commitment to safeguard our Website visitors' personal information.

Browsing the website is free and does not require registration, except for certain specific services. When accessing said specific services that require visitors to register online and give their personal information, such as when buying or renewing one's VeniceBox Pass, or notifying any potential candidacies, and so on, the visitor/user will be duly notified pursuant to art. 13 of D.Lgs. 30 June 2003, n. 196. The notice will provide a detailed example of why and how we at BBC Solution will process personal information. It will also specify the visitor/user of the right to have their personal information deleted or updated at any given moment.

INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The legal representative of the processing

The legal representative, pursuant to art. 28 of the Code, is the company called BBC Solution snc, via Vanzo 71/B - 31021 Mogliano Veneto (TV), Italy, Telephone +39 041 5958775, info@touristcitypass.it.

Types of personal data we process

Accessing the Reserved area of the Website requires a username and password which are issued at registration. Once logged in, users will be able to access all of the Website sections that reserved to registered users.

To access the other areas of the Website there is no need to register.

Some of the services offered on the Website, however, require visitors to give their personal information. In particular, your personal information is required when you want us to contact you, when you request a VeniceBox package, when you send in your CV, and so on.

In the event that BBC Solution acquires personal information and related data, users will be notified of this ahead of time, pursuant to art. 13 of the Code, and will informed about how and why the data is required and processed. For example, to send out promotional materials. Examples of the personal information that may be required are, name and surname, telephone numbers, email addresses and other information that users agree to provide in order to use the services after filling in a registration form. BBC Solution will only process the personal information it collects in the way it specifies during the registration procedure. Except for the data about browsing the Website (see points 2 and 5), the giving of Personal Information, while registering any request form, is discretionary . However, not giving your personal information may prevent you from accessing specific services and thus getting what you may have requested.

Information processing method and Communication context

Unless otherwise specified by specific notices in the Website, personal information will be processed with automated tools and only for the amount of time needed to achieve the scope for which said information is collected. The information is then destroyed. BBC Solution ensures that said information is lawfully processed. The information shall not be disclosed or given to any third parties, except within the limits and at the conditions which will be expressly detailed in the notices that will, time by time, provided to users and only after said users agree to this. We have implemented special safety measures to prevent data loss, wrongful use or unauthorized access. All of the collected information is transmitted in protected fashion, so that it may not be intercepted. The Website's security is guaranteed and certified by Seeweb, an internet security services provider.

Profiling Tools

BBC Solution shall not conduct any promotional and/or advertising communication unless this is previously agreed with users. The Website uses Cookies: these are text files, which are sent by a web server, which is the PC on which the visited Website is running, to users’ browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and so on), and are stored in the PC’s hard disk when users visit the Website.

The cookie allows the Website to ID users’ PCs, through the information stored in them, each time users connect to the Website using their PCs. By using cookies we can make browsing our Website easier for users. The cookies do not collect users’ ID information. That is, by using cookies, BBC Solution is not able to trace any personal information, such as, name, surname, email address, unless it is provided by users themselves. Moreover, other websites cannot use cookies issued by the BBC Solution website to access other information contained in users’ PCs. Once cookies are stored in the PC, they can only be read by the Website which created them.

What type of cookies does BBC Solution use?

Temporary Cookies.

These are so called “session cookies” - they are released by the Website onto users' PCs while they are browsing, but they are stored only for the duration of the browsing session. This means that when users close their browser the cookies are deleted automatically and they disappear; they are not stored in the PC. They are composed of random numbers generated by the server and they make for secure and efficient browsing of websites.

Following is some information about the cookies used in the Website:

  1. The domain name from which the Website server transmits the cookies is www.venicebox.it .
  2. Scope of the data collection: the cookies are used only to provide you with easier, quicker browsing of the Website, and to improve its contents.
  3. Collected data: only the following information is collected: the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the requested resources, the time of the requests, the method used to request from the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code showing the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error, and so on) and other parameters about the users' operating systems and computer environment.
  4. Validity of the cookies: the Website does not use permanent cookies, that is, cookies that are permanently stored and which have to be removed by the users themselves. This Website only uses session cookies, that is, cookies that are automatically deleted once users close their browsers.
  5. The need to accept cookies: users can still browse if they deactivate the cookies. However, certain Website contents may not be available then.
  6. Deactivating and deleting cookies: users can deactivate or delete the cookies at any time. To do this, just check their Browsers' instruction Manual on the Help Page. And, users may set up their browsers to be prompted when a cookie appears, and decide whether to accept it or refuse it; users can also decide to automatically refuse all cookies, by setting up their browsers accordingly.
  7. Notifying the data: the information collected via cookies is reserved and are not shared with any third parties. The cookies, which are issued by the www.venicebox.it dominion, contain the following information: a numerical ID which unequivocally identifies BBC Solution, and a numerical ID which unequivocally identifies users when they are browsing the Website. Both of these are stored in our database. Also, a numerical ID or record, which unequivocally identifies users' browsing sessions in our database; a pseudo-random, alphanumerical session ID which is automatically deleted by the browser once it is closed.

No other user profiling tools are used in our Website, that is, no spyware of sorts.

Connection to other websites

This notice is only provided for the http://www.venicebox.it Website and not for any other websites that may be connected and browsed by users via a link.

BBC Solution shall not be liable for any personal information provided by users to any third parties or websites linked to this Website.

Users' rights.

Pursuant to art. 7 of the Code, you are entitled to receive, from BBC Solution, information about the processing of your personal data, and among other things: 1) to promptly receive confirmation of whether their data is being processed; 2) to receive: a) when and where their personal data was collected, the scope and methods for processing the data, the logic behind the application of certain electronic tools to help process the data, the identification details of the legal representative of the processing, any third-parties to whom the data may be transmitted or who may know about the data, being that they may be responsible for it or entrusted with it for professional reasons; updating, correction, rectification, or whenever requested, the integration of the data; b) deletion, transformation in anonymous form or the freezing of any such data processed in violation of the law. 3) Totally or partially opposing the processing of your personal data for the purposes of transmission of advertising or direct sales material or market research or sales information.
